Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park is in northern Tanzania, just south of Lake Manyara and it’s covered an area of about 2,850 square kilometers dominated by a landscape of river valleys, granite ridge and swamps. This Park with its huge baobab trees, the perennial Tarangire River and seasonal swamps is home to the largest elephant herds in the north region of the country. the park is also home to buffaloes, zebras and wildebeests which are always closely followed by a range of predators such as lions. Leopards and cheetahs are more rarely spotted. Tarangire is the ideal park for those who want to explore beyond game drives.
